DO NOT BUY THIS MAP
It is woefully out of date. Map shows roads near Lihue that DO NOT exist anymore. Also shows places like the Red Dirt Shirt Factory Outlet that closed down years ago. Obviously, a lazy company that printed this map a long time ago, and continues to make money off it without any thought whatsoever of doing research to update it.
Essential Map, check best times to go ahead of time.
This was a must have map to get around Kaua'i. Highlights many of them must see spots. The only thing that I would change is if they indicated best times to visit certain spots. We had a couple spots we visited where certain times of the day where better to go due to fog in the afternoon, the tide, Na Poli coast you need to get their in the morning before 9am for parking and to get out early enough to avoid traffic etc. So check best times to go before you go, is my advice. These side notes aside we had this map everyday and it helped us navigate the island and pick our must do spots.

I liked that this map was waterproof and gave a lot of detail. We used it non-stop during our Hawaii vacation.
Excellent map shows all the places to go and what to do on Kauai
Just got back from Kauai and Oahu. This map really helped to guide us around Kauai, and told us of many places to visit and things to see. Waterproof, good topography, light, full of information. A great buy!

If you are planning to visit Kauai by car this guide is what you need. I found it to be very helpful in planning a tour of the Island.

Really thin
It isn’t thick laminated like I thought it was. I was hoping it was like lamination that you can write on with a dry erase but it’s hot. but other then that It will come in handy on our vacation

Good to have handy while there
This gives good info in a small space. Will be great to have in the pack with us when we go. Also have the Franko St Thomas map so was familiar with how they layout their maps. It has also com ein handy in planning out our vacation. I am a map guy, and normally get the Trails Illustrated, but they do not have one for Kauai.
